Centenary Today

Today, Centenary continues to be known for its worship and awe-inspiring music ministry.  Numerous persons find themselves connecting to God and each other in this way.  Similarly, educational ministries of the church challenge young and old to learn and grow.

The church continues to be involved in local, national, and world concerns.  Members of all ages participate regularly in hands-on mission activities from the Samaritan Inn to Habitat for Humanity to Meals on Wheels.  Members have recently been involved in mission trips to Chicago, the Hinton Rural Life Center, Bolivia and Honduras. Centenary strives to be a church where we share the word of God and the love of Jesus Christ with all people.  We are a church made up of disciples in action!

Everyone connected with Centenary has a story of some sort.  Still today, we have members in our church who were present for the opening service in 1931.  How wonderful it is to hear their stories. We all have special memories from our own involvement here.  As we continue this journey of faith, we do so knowing that we, too, are making history.  We are creating living faith stories inside and outside of the church.  Won't you join us and share your story?
